Mei Mei X Food Waste Feast Dumpling Class

Trying to make the most of your Thanksgiving leftovers? The Li sisters (Mei Mei co-founders Chef Irene Li and Mei Li) will walk you through some leftover-tastic dumpling-making techniques and share their tips and tricks for reducing food waste at home through creative cooking and eating.

Think turkey dumplings with cranberry mustard, stuffing dumplings with gravy on the side, pumpkin pie dumplings with whipped cream… can you tell how excited we are?! Maybe turkey congee will make a surprise appearance too!

This hands-on class covers everything you need to make dumplings at home including hand-folding techniques plus some unexpected recipes! If you don't have leftovers, you’ll still get our favorite dumpling filling recipe to host your very own holiday dumpling party!

OUR VIRTUAL CLASS INCLUDES:

  • 1.5 hours of public class time via Zoom conferencing. You’ll receive the link after purchase.

  • Live, instructor-led demonstrations that cover several ways to fold dumplings and much more.

Please note that you will need to have your filling ingredients (or leftovers!) prepped and dumpling wrappers ready before class starts. You'll receive full instructions upon ticket purchase.

A portion of proceeds will benefit:

Lovin' Spoonfuls, an organization dedicated to facilitating the rescue and distribution of healthy, fresh food that would otherwise be discarded throughout Greater Boston.

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, a North Carolina nonprofit that aims to feed our neighbors, teach self-sufficiency, grow healthy foods, and cultivate innovative approaches to end hunger
