Dumpling Dividends with National Development and Iron Works Boston

Our Mei Mei Dumpling Factory dreams are becoming a reality with our fans and supporters helping us cross the fundraising finish line with a NuMarket Campaign to raise $188,000 in one month to complete construction!

Fans contribute funds to use with Mei Mei - just like buying yourself a gift certificate - and get “dumpling dividends” of an extra 20% back in value to use at farmer’s markets, at the new South Boston location, for merchandise, classes and more.

To ensure our campaign would start strong, our Iron Works South Boston landlords, National Development, pledged a matching contribution for our supporters - for each dollar contributed, National Development matched up to $5,000 in funds. We shared the match in our email newsletter to 8000+ fans and subscribers were so excited that we collectively raised $10,000 in under 24 hours! Corporate matching partners also get dumpling dividends to spend on parties or private dumpling-making classes for team building. National Development was acknowledged on our social media platforms as a generous campaign supporter and they will be using their dumpling dividends towards a private catered event in our new space.
